Corn Maze!!

We went to a corn maze!  Yep, a corn maze in Arizona.

A local farm called Apple Annie's does one every year and with this year being Arizona's centennial, it was themed as such.
I took tons of pictures while going through the maze, but, they all look alike.  It's corn...not much to see.

Try to contain your excitement.
(I have to admit though, I am city girl and can't honestly say I have ever been this close to corn that was not in a store, so it was bit cool for the first few minutes.)

They did have more than one and yes, the "Challenge Maze" was a bit of a challenge.  No, we didn't get lost for hours but there were a few "didn't we just pass this spot?" moments.

The maze was set up to get you to answer questions about Arizona's history.  So at various spots, you had to pull out the paper and pick a multiple choice answer which determined if you went right or left.  Yeah, I turned into a homeschool lesson.  :)

Of course, we couldn't leave without buying some dressing or syrup or jelly or something.  They had honey sticks with all kinds of flavors (pink lemonade honey?!), which the kids and the husband tried.  I don't care for honey, so I passed on that.

But I did enjoy this:

And just because I saw this sign on the way back and couldn't help but smile:

**I also got to check off "visit a corn maze" on my 40 by 40 list!
